Documenting the full story - not just the finished product
New Lane Projects didn't want a standard "after" shoot. They wanted a complete visual record of the Nicholls renovation - from original condition, through active construction, to the final reveal. They wanted to use it on their website, in client proposals and on social media. It would show people what working with New Lane looks like.
That's a different kind of brief. It takes planning, coordination, and a clear visual strategy from session one - not just a polished camera on completion day.

- Coordinating production around pre-reno, mid-reno, and post-completion stages without disrupting active trades or slowing the build schedule.
- Maintaining consistent framing, angles, and composition across three separate sessions - essential for side-by-side comparisons to land with impact.
- Balancing professional production standards with the practical reality of filming inside an active construction environment.

A structured shoot schedule planned from day one
We worked with the New Lane Projects team to plan a shoot for each key stage of the renovation. Session one captured the property in its original state with clean, consistent framing. Session two documented the active construction phase - structural changes, trades on site, and aerial shots showing the layout evolving. Session three captured the finished home from the same angles as session one. This makes every before and after easy to compare. After the shoots, we edited a cinematic recap film and 30+ colour-corrected photos. We also made before-and-after layouts for the website, proposals and social media.
